Tojiro Bread Slicer F-737 features a serrated blade made of high-carbon stainless steel and a natural wood handle for extra durability and ease of use. This Japanese bread knife has a total length of 375mm and the blade itself is 235mm which is an optimal size to cut any type of bread.
The combination of an anti-rust stainless steel blade and natural wood handle might be simple but it offers ease of use, durability and a clean cut without deforming the bread.

This bread knife looks beautiful and is razor sharp with some flexibility. It is the perfect bread knife.
I admit that it was a bit of an impulse purchase for me. I recall reading that it was the recommended bread knife on one of those foodie websites (may have been Epicure or Saveur or something). Anyway, it was a purchase that I am extremely glad to have made. Worth every penny!

The blade is thinner than I expected, but once I got the hang of it I have been able to cut my sourdough slices so much thinner!
