I recently purchased a starter kit because I was sick of paying almost $10 for a loaf of average sourdough from my local bakery. After following the simple instructions my starter was ready to use within 24 hours. The websites step-by-step guide on how to bake a basic loaf of sourdough has helped me make over 10 gorgeous loaves in the last week and a half. I haven’t had one failure or misstep and have basically made my money back! All while enjoying beautiful bread with my friends and family.

So impressed!

I started the process of rehydrating the flakes last week & baked my first sourdough loaf on the weekend. Wow! The whole process was easy, enjoyable & the bread turned out wonderful. The instructions & videos on the website were so helpful.

Works every time

Purchased the starter kit, took several days to get it fermenting as it’s been raining lots, found the garage to be really warm, wrapped starter in a blanket. First loaf wasn’t expecting much as GF bread is usually pretty ordinary, but this bread is beautiful. First loaf eaten pretty quickly, so have 2 baguette and a loaf proving.

sourdough discovery

Thanks for the box, the contents look great. I have been reading the how to section and I think on the weekend i might et the starter firing. I don't quite understand the amount of materials for feeding the sourdough starter, so I am goin to have to do some research on that. I make normal bread so the rest of it i think will be ok. Thankyou!
