We designed this jar with a simple goal: to create something that works exactly as intended, while being beautiful enough to belong in the kitchens and homes of the bakers who use it.

We left out the unnecessary markings, oversized logos and additional extras that often overcomplicate the process. We believe sourdough bakers learn to read their starter through observation over time — relying on intuition rather than measurements, and embracing the variables that make sourdough baking so rewarding.

This jar reflects that philosophy. Simple. Quality. Intentional. Unfussy.

The curved base eliminates stubborn flour pockets when stirring, while the straight, thread-free walls make cleaning genuinely effortless. Finished with a solid acacia wood lid and durable silicone seal, it keeps your starter protected between feeds.

Please note: Each lid is crafted from a solid piece of acacia wood, making every jar unique. Natural variations in grain, colour, and texture are a beautiful characteristic of the timber and part of its individual charm.
