What size banneton should I get?
All banneton size options will fit our dutch oven so it will come down to your preference! Please note our recipes are for small & large dough sizes, however you can increase the baker's percentage to achieve the dough size you need.

Learning how to bake bread with enough steam in a domestic oven is the first challenge for a home baker when embarking on their bread journey. A Dutch oven, which is a pot made entirely of cast iron allows for enough heat & steam to replicate a commercial bread oven environment & so is the preferred method when making bread at home.
Our bread specific Dutch ovens are perfect for baking bread & gives perfect results every time.
How it works
During the initial stages of baking, steam is released inside the chamber of a Dutch oven (sealed by a lid), this keeps the dough moist allowing the bread to develop a crispy, shiny crust and attain maximal volume.

So I have been baking (experimenting) sourdough for a few months, using a pot instead of an oven, finally I purchased a complete kit with oven bundle, I have to say it’s one of my best investment ever. The flavour and texture of the sourdough it’s SOOOO good
The flours that come with this kit are very high quality and yield much tastier bread than supermarket flour.
The dutch oven is cast iron and pre-seasoned which makes things very easy. Comes with an insanely long waranty. The dutch oven mat is super convenient as well. I'm very clumsy and would probably burn myself otherwise
Overall a great kit for beginners or advanced bakers looking to restock their toolkits
I'm really happy with my Complete Sourdough Starter kit. Starter revived with 48 hours with more activity than my previous Starter. The bread tins give some interesting options. Regularly turning out drool-worthy loaves again.
