Made in Germany from 100% sustainably sourced spruce trees.

These professional grade wood pulp bannetons are perfect for higher-hydration doughs & designed to wick moisture to create an even skin during the final proofing.

High quality, thick-walled & durable they help maintain a consistent temperature & facilitate an easy release of dough.

Please note: variations in wood, natural pigments, colour & consistency throughout each basket is perfectly normal & expected.

BANNETON SPECIFICATIONS:

A smaller version of our Long Oval shape with a spiral pattern. If you’re looking for a shorter, more round-oval shape please see our Short Oval.

Dough capacity is approximately between 700g - 850g.

100% sustainably sourced German Spruce wood fibre.

HOW TO USE CARE:

With some care & little maintenance, there is no reason to ever replace these bannetons.

Wood pulp bannetons are the best!

So easy to use, dough does not stick to the wood pulp so the loaf turns out easily prior to scoring and baking. Easy to clean and maintenance is a breeze. I purchased the Small Oval and the Short Oval. Definitely going back for more. Highly recommended.

I live the wood pulp bannetons and have them in nearly every size! I have used these and the calico lined ones but the bread is better in these. I had them in the kitchen within a couple of days of ordering, fabulous service.
