This short oval banneton works with lodge cast iron combo cooker. While I haven't compared the wood pulp side by side to cane. I do think it results in a better loaf. Overall happy with the purchase and would recommend giving a go!

I have finally found a Banneton that I am most impressed with in terms of shape retention and its ability to wick moisture from the dough surface. My loaves are looking rotund and shapely. LOVE IT!
